Who I Am

- My name is Kathy. I'm Katie's grandma and Heather's mom. I love pictures and family. I keep it simple. I like to garden, hike, listen to books on CD while driving. I love American Idol and Survivor. I love the beach and mountains. I love Country music and Elliott Yamin--something about his voice is soothing. I believe in God. I know that the Bible is true, from beginning to end. I don't like drama. I wish the best for people. I've been hurt, but I hope I don't retaliate. I like things to go good for people. Things slide off me easily, because I know that people will always talk, but as long as I stay true to myself, their chatter doesn't matter. I love my neices and nephews. I love my great neice, Hannah and great nephew, David. David looks just like his mom when she was his age. Hannah looks just like her dad. It's funny to watch them and remember them being little. Katie looks a lot like her mommy. We have strong genes. Our family is built tough. Through all our adversity, we're still standing. When I am afraid, I will trust in you, Lord. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? (Ps 56:3-4 NIV)
